11 Oct 2016, Posted by Blog Articles inSo that’s another season of footy over which gives rise to getting outside more to pursue those more summery activities, though with this arduously long Melbourne winter – yes, I am over it – you wouldn’t know; when will it end?? Long days on the beach, swimming, cycling, stand up paddle boarding (SUP), surfing etc etc… in the warmth of the sun followed by evening barbies and beers with friends is what’s just around the corner. So while many of us are over it, we just have to keep going – nothing is better than long hot summer days & I am stoked that daylight saving has kicked in.
Sports and activities we participate in more actively during summer such as triathlons, are also upon us. Many of you already compete, or have done, in one way or another which is awesome in itself. It’s important to remember to seek regular treatment as part of your training and recovery schedule. This not only removes aches and pains, addressing injuries and the like, but also aids in improving your overall performance.
CF Racing is a triathlon squad I work closely with and I am excited to announce I will be on hand at some of the major races this season, assisting their athletes. On another note, I will be heading to Seal Rocks next week for some much needed R & R. I am absolutely pumped and looking forward to some quality scuba diving, SUP, and time at the beach.
